Welcome to Cineplex Entertainment LP’s “The Other Boyeln Girl” on-line contest (“Contest”). By entering this Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions below.

Sponsor : Cineplex Entertainment LP (“Cineplex”) is the sole sponsor of this Contest and is solely responsible for conducting and administering this Contest.

1.  How to Enter:

No purchase necessary. Contest begins at 9:00AM E.T. Wednesday April 30th, 2008 and ends at 12:00PM E.T. on Wednesday May 7th, 2008. (“Contest Period”). To enter the contest, entrants must either be an existing subscriber to MyCineplex or they must become a subscriber to MyCineplex between the dates of Tuesday, April 29th 2008 and Tuesday, May 6th, 2008 (“Contest Period”), and maintain their subscription through to the conclusion of the Contest. A contest entry form is located at www.cineplex.com. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received at the time of  drawing. Only one (1) entry per natural personemail address allowed during the Contest. In the event the Sponsor discovers attempts at multiple entries by one person using the same or multiple email addresses, each entry will be discarded and the entrant disqualified at  the sole discretion of Sponsor.

2. Prizes:

There are a total of (5) five autographed novels by the author, Philippa Gregory available to be won.

Approximate retail value of each prize is $20.00 Cdn.

All Prizes are subject to change and can be substituted at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

3. Prize Drawing:

Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on Thursday May 8th,  2008 at 9:00 AM E.T. in Toronto. Sponsor  will mail out the prizes to the address provided on the contest entry form.

Prizes are as described, are not transferable, and cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash, or any other prize. Prizes are non-refundable, non-saleable and must be accepted as awarded.  The Sponsor reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of unavailability of all or part of any of the Prizes for any reason whatsoever. With respect to all Prizes, The Sponsor retains the right to request eligible winners to sign a declaration before being awarded a Prize.

4. Eligibility:

Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, North West Territories, Nunavut, and the Yukon, and who are (18) eighteen years of age or over as of Wednesday April 30th,  2008.. Potential winner must either be an existing subscriber to MyCineplex or they must become a subscriber to MyCineplex during the Contest Period, and maintain their subscription through to the conclusion of the Contest Period. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer and has no cash value. Contest is not open to employees and those domiciled with employees of the Sponsor, Sony Pictures, A Touchstone Book or any of their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies (“Related Parties”).  Sponsor reserves the right to verify the age of potential prize winners and that such persons are not employees (or domiciled with employees) of any Related Parties.  Void where prohibited.

5. General Rules:

The Sponsor shall not be liable for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, not received, stolen, mutilated, or illegible entries.  By entering this Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and independent judging organization, if any, which are final, binding and conclusive on all matters relating to this Contest.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor, none will be returned and no correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants who will be notified by telephone or e-mail.  The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify all entrants who fail to follow these official rules and regulations or who make any misrepresentation relating to the Contest, drawing and redemption of the Prizes. This Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal legislation.  Entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, photograph, and/or voice recording for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.  Decisions of the Sponsor are final with respect to all aspects of this Contest. 

The Sponsor shall not be responsible for any failure of the website during the promotion or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line, or Internet entry to be received by the Sponsor. In addition, the Sponsor shall not be responsible due to technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer or property related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. The Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.

In the event of a dispute, online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.  If the identity of an online entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry name change.  The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid online entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).

6. Privacy:

At Cineplex, we are committed to respecting your desire for privacy.  Any personal information that we gather will be handled in strict accordance with our privacy policies and all applicable privacy legislation.  Cineplex will not sell your personal information collected for this contest to any third parties.  Any personal information collected for this contest shall be used by Cineplex as is disclosed herein.  Please note that by submitting personal information to Cineplex, you consent to our use as described herein http://www.cineplex.com/Global/PrivacyPolicy.aspx.

7. No Liability

Sponsor shall not be responsible in any way for the use of, or bear any liability whatsoever in any way attributable to, the Prizes awarded in this Contest or the events forming part of this Contest.
