LIVE COMEDY COMES TO THE BIG SCREEN...GET READY TO LAUGH OUT LOUD!

Cineplex Entertainment, in partnership with Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Sudbury Comedy Festival, is pleased to announce the one-time only live presentation of the Opening Gala Show in High Definition (HD), on Thursday May 29th exclusively at more than 60 select Cineplex Entertainment theatres across the country. The live show will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. EST and timeshifted for Western Canada.

The Opening Gala Show promises a hilarious night with comedians from Canada, USA and England. Guest Host is sitcom legend Jason Alexander, best known for his role as George Costanza on the hit television series Seinfeld. Also appearing in the show is John Moloney, one of Britain’s most in-demand acts, a true comic and musical talent. Returning to the festival is Winston Spear, a regular cast member and staff writer on CTV and The Comedy Network’s hit sketch show Comedy Inc. Rounding out the show is Sabrina Jalees, who since setting foot on the Yuk Yuk’s stage for the first time at age 16, has been the youngest stand-up ever added to their professional roster.
