While 19-year-old Alice is attending a party, she sees a white rabbit with a pocket watch go into the bushes and follows him. She falls down a rabbit hole that leads to Underland, where she is reunited with her childhood friends, the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mat Hatter. All of the residents of Underworld are searching for someone to save them from the cruel Red Queen who has taken over the kingdom and decapitates anyone who crosses her. A scroll in Underland chronicles the history of the land, including events that have not yet occurred, and it states that Alice is the one who will set the kingdom free by defeating the queen's dragon-like Jabberwocky.
