With her natural talent and endless drive, actress Leven Rambin was undoubtedly born to be in front of the camera. After making her professional debut on daytime television, the Texas-born actress gained considerable experience with regular roles on prime time series such as "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (Fox, 2008-09), "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2005- ), and "One Tree Hill" (WB/CW, 2003- ). Rambin also took a stab at comedic acting with appearances on "Scoundrels" (ABC, 2010) and "Wizards of Waverly Place" (Disney Channel, 2007- ), about a modern-day family of wizards living in New York City. Her hard work and persistence paid off when she nabbed a coveted part in The Hunger Games (2012), the film adaptation of the 2008 bestselling young adult novel by Suzanne Collins. Rambin's portrayal of a ruthless competitor in a brutal game of survival made audiences take notice of her solid acting skills and strong potential to become a Hollywood star.

Leven Rambin was born on May 17, 1990 in Houston, TX. The future star, whose first name means "life" in Dutch, sparked her interest in acting by performing in school plays. She also took voice lessons as a child and completed a youth modeling course. Rambin trained at the Houston School of Film and Theatre before moving to Los Angeles. Still in her teens, Rambin became a series regular on the daytime soap opera "All My Children" (ABC, 1970- ), where she played Lily Montgomery, the autistic teenager of Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey). In 2007, Rambin began playing dual roles on the soap; she continued to play Lily as well as the character, Ava Benton, Lily's street-smart older sister. Her work on the series earned Rambin two consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations in 2006 and 2007. After leaving "All My Children," Rambin guest starred on a number of primetime dramas like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999- ) and "Lipstick Jungle" (NBC, 2008-09). In 2008, Rambin had a recurring part on Fox's action-thriller "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," a spin-off from the blockbuster "Terminator" series of films, playing the love interest of the lead character John Connor (Thomas Dekker).

Rambin continued to hone her craft on television with recurring roles on the ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" and the short-lived comedic drama "Scoundrels" (ABC, 2010). She also appeared on "Wizards of Waverly Place," a family-oriented comedy about modern-day wizards trying to live a normal life. The hardworking actress' career continued to gain headway with recurring parts on "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002- ) and "One Tree Hill," where she was a surrogate mother who had second thoughts about giving up her baby for adoption. Rambin's first major film role was in "The Hunger Games," the highly anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' 2008 best selling novel about children forced to participate in a televised game of survival. Referred to in the novel and film as "tributes," the participants are plucked from their homes to fight to the death to win honor for their particular districts. Rambin's character, Glimmer, was considered a "Career tribute," children who come from wealthier districts and spend their entire lives preparing for battle. Being a "Career," Glimmer was one of the more formidable contenders who were trying to hunt down and kill Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), the film's heroine who volunteers to participate in the annual bloodbath in place of her younger sister.
