The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
DS
Link, the elfish hero of many Zelda games, joins pirate captain Tetra for a new adventure when they discover a strange ghost ship off a foggy island. The crew will have to explore uncharted seas and dank dungeons, hunting for weapons and collecting sand for the mysterious Phantom Hourglass.
In this first DS Zelda adventure you’ll use the stylus to move Link and swing his sword, control the ship and direct his boomerang. The main action is on the bottom screen, with your maps on the top one. Also fun: you can battle a friend over local wireless or Nintendo’s Wi-Fi connection.
Fun fact:
Did you know Link is one of the only left-handed videogame heroes?

Super Mario Galaxy
Wii
This fall our favourite mustachioed plumber is taking a giant leap
into the final frontier: outer space. There Mario will hop from planet
to planet in platform-style action, gathering artifacts and stomping
enemies.
The challenge: spin, point and shake the Wii remote and nunchuk to
pull off crazy jumps as you explore some very strange locations. But it
won’t be easy — every world has a different gravity which affects
Mario’s moves. Hope you were listening in science class!

High School Musical: Sing It!
Wii, PS2
Here’s your chance to take the microphone as Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad or Taylor and sing your way to fame. A karaoke game just for HSM fans, Sing It! collects every song and dance number from both movies.
If you’re feeling creative (or silly) you can mix and match your favourite characters, backdrops and outfits. “Story” mode lets you relive the movie scene by scene, belting out every song; and “Party” mode is for competing against friends. Wii players too shy to sing can even accompany the action on drums, tambourine or cowbell. More cowbell!
