From Zero to Hero

In Igor, a mad scientist’s assistant steps out of his master’s shadow

Mad scientists get all the credit while their hard-working assistants are ignored, except for the rare time when they get to pull a switch or press a button.

In the kingdom of Malaria, every mad scientist and inventor has an assistant, and all of them are named Igor. The Igors come in different shapes and sizes, but the one trait they share is that they all feel underappreciated by their evil masters.

In particular, Dr. Glickenstein’s Igor feels like his work in the laboratory goes unnoticed. This Igor is smart and funny, and he believes that, given a chance, he could be a successful scientist just like Dr. Glickenstein.

He sets out to prove his worth by entering the 51st Annual Evil Science Fair, Malaria’s most important yearly competition. Each scientist shows off their best evil creation, and to make the grade Igor will have to come up with an amazing creation. He’ll face hostility from the skeptical scientists, but by believing in himself (and getting a little help from his friends) this lowly assistant could change the lives of all the Igors for the better.
