Beware the Poisonous Spider

Spider-Man 3 - Beware the Poisonous Spider

In Spider-Man 3, our web-slinging superhero confronts his dark side!

"Spider-Man rocks!”

“I wish I were Spider-Man!”

Everybody loves Spider-Man! And why not, he’s been coming to the aid of the citizens of New York City for more than 4 years, and everyone — except Daily Bugle editor J.J. Jameson — thinks he’s a hero.

No wonder Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spidey, is feeling so good. He’s a superhero, his day job as a photographer at the Daily Bugle newspaper is going great and he’s about to ask his girlfriend, M.J., to marry him!

But Peter’s good mood changes when the police tell him they’ve discovered a thug named Flint Marko was the man who murdered his beloved Uncle Ben. Looking for revenge, Peter goes in search of Marko.

Meanwhile, J.J. Jameson’s son, astronaut John Jameson, returns from space and brings an alien organism with him. When this life form attaches itself to Spider-Man’s costume, the do-gooding superhero begins to change, his thoughts turn dark and menacing, and even his costume changes from red to black.

And it’s this changed Spider-Man who comes face-to-face with three new villains: the new Goblin, who is Peter’s ex-friend Harry Osborn, Venom and the shifty Sandman, who turns out to be the thug, Flint Marko.

The question is, will Spider-Man’s new dark personality help him — or hurt him — when goes up against these supervillians?
