Keepin’ it Real
Miley Stewart, a.k.a. Hannah Montana, gets a taste of the simple life when she returns to her hometown in Hannah Montana: The Movie
If you don’t know who Hannah Montana is, you’ve probably spent the last few years living in a tent in the woods with no TV.
She is, of course, the famous singing and dancing alter ego of one Miley Stewart. And Miley Stewart is the central character on TV’s Hannah Montana, a series about a sweet schoolgirl named Miley (played by Miley Cyrus, like you didn’t know) who hides the fact that, by night, she is the famous singing star.
But even though Miley has done her best to keep her life normal by day, the pressures of stardom are getting to her.
In the TV show’s new big-screen spinoff, Hannah Montana: The Movie, Miley’s dad Robby (played by Miley’s real-life dad Billy Ray Cyrus), suggests that Miley leave the big city and spend some time in her little hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee, to get perspective on her life and figure out what’s really important.
So Miley returns to Tennessee where she chills out, rides horses and attends the local school. Rumour has it, there may even be a budding romance between Miley and her old friend Travis Brody.
