• Just like Miley Stewart, Miley Cyrus was born in Tennessee. But instead of Stewart’s small hometown of Crowley Corners, Cyrus was born in Nashville, the state’s capital, and grew up on a farm just outside the city.

• Where Miley Stewart tries to maintain a normal life by going to public school, Miley Cyrus is taught by a private tutor on the set of her TV show and movies.

• Miley’s real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Her parents named her that because they expected big things from her. They were right, but they call her Miley anyway. The nickname comes from the fact that Miley was so smiley as a little kid.

• Miley’s first acting role was as “Kylie” on her dad’s TV series Doc. That show was filmed in Toronto, so Miley was actually living in Canada when she had her first taste of showbiz. She was nine at the time.

• Miley’s last movie, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, was also based on the character from her TV show, but since it was a concert movie, it had no plot.
