A Hero to Remember
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars you’ll see a different side of Anakin Skywalker
Star Wars fans know that Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker turned his back on the Jedi Order to embrace the dark side and become the villainous Darth Vader. So, who can blame you if you don’t really think of Anakin as a hero.
But you will after watching the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Based on the 25-episode TV series that played a few years ago, this movie focuses on the Clone Wars that occur in the time between Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith.
During that time, Jedi Knight Anakin is still paired with his mentor, the wise Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, Anakin has matured a lot since he first started studying with Obi-Wan, and his Jedi skills are quite remarkable. So the Jedi Council allows Anakin to mentor a young knight, and he receives his very own Jedi apprentice (apprentices are called Padawans).
Padawan Ahsoka is a feisty girl who thinks she has all the answers (kinda like Anakin when he first started studying with Obi-Wan). Anakin will have his work cut out for him — guiding Ahsoka and battling enemies such as Count Dooku, General Grievous and Darth Sidious, who together lead a giant robot army against the Republic!
