Journey Into the Past
Three humans are transported to a prehistoric world in Land of the Lost
By Ingrid Randoja
Dr. Rick Marshall is an oddball scientist who believes in some very weird theories. His most controversial theory is that time warps exist,
and that it’s possible for humans to travel back in time.
Well, it turns out that wacky Rick was right!

Rick, his assistant Holly and a macho survivalist
named Will discover a time warp, which sweeps
them back in time, waaaaaay back.
The threesome is transported to a prehistoric world, where dinosaurs
share the planet with strange plants, giant insects and lizard
creatures called Sleestaks.
The Sleestaks aren’t the smartest animals alive, but they
are clever enough to know Rick, Holly and Will don’t belong in their world, and want to get
rid of the human intruders. With no supplies
or weapons at their disposal, the group must
rely on their smarts for survival — and that’s asking a lot from this sad-sack trio.
But the humans do have one advantage over the Sleestaks, and his
name is Chaka, a small ape-like creature who helps them navigate their
way through the strange Land of the Lost.
Land of the Lost opens June 5
