The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

The last time we saw adventurer Rick O’Connell, his wife Evelyn and their son Alex was in The Mummy Returns. In that movie Rick had to battle not only the evil high priest Imhotep but also the dreaded Scorpion King. In this third Mummy movie Rick and his family travel to China where the Dragon Emperor and his army of 10,000 soldiers have been resurrected from their clay tombs. Can Rick find a way to put this Dragon back to sleep?

Nim’s Island

Nim is a girl who lives with her scientist father on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean. They live a simple life — the only hi-tech gadget they have is a computer powered by a solar panel. When her father goes missing, Nim is left alone on the island, but she does receive help from a far-off friend via email — the reclusive writer Alexandra Rover. Alexandra is the author of Nim’s favourite books, the Rover adventure series, and she and Nim work together to keep Nim safe from harm.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

If you thought The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was full of action then you’ll love the second movie of the series, Prince Caspian.

It’s been a year since the Pevensie kids — Susan, Peter, Edmund and Lucy — visited Narnia, and now they are drawn back once more to the enchanted land. However, 1,300 years have passed in Narnia and the beautiful kingdom they remember is long gone. The realm is ruled by the evil King Miraz, but he isn’t the land’s rightful heir, that honour belongs to Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding. Yet with the help of the Pevensie siblings, a dwarf, talking mouse and the great lion Aslan, Prince Caspian may just get his chance to take back the throne and return Narnia to its former glory.
