In Bedtime Stories two kids turn nighttime tales into daytime trouble!

Skeeter Bronson is a hotel handyman who agrees to take care of his niece and nephew when their mom has to go out of town for an interview. She just lost her job so the family is having some money problems.

Like any good uncle, Skeeter agrees to tell the kids bedtime stories before tucking them in for the night. And in these stories, Skeeter is always the hero. The first time Skeeter tells a story, his nephew adds a little detail, that it starts raining gumballs.

The next day, Skeeter gets caught in a storm of — you guessed it — raining gumballs. Realizing that whatever happens in his bedtime stories comes true in real life, Skeeter decides to use the stories to earn some money for the family. But when he tells a story about earning $100-million by saving a beautiful woman, that part doesn’t come true. Instead, the part his nephew added to the tale — where Skeeter gets kicked by an angry dwarf — is what happens the next day.

That’s when Skeeter realizes it’s not the things that he makes up that come true, it’s the parts of the story that are told by his niece and nephew that become reality. So now Skeeter’s at the kids’ mercy, and for some reason, they don’t always have his best interests at heart. Like when they say that Skeeter will be hit by a giant fireball. Ouch.
