Pitch Perfect, Rebel Wilson, Anna KendrickImagine a foul-mouthed ladies-only version of “Glee” set in college.  That should give you an idea of what to expect in the new musical comedy Pitch Perfect. We've got the Canadian EXCLUSIVE on the new trailer for you!

The upcoming a capella comedy has Anna Kendrick (Twilight) and Bridesmaids scene-stealer Rebel Wilson joining an on-campus all-girl singing group who need to spice up their repertoire if they’re going to take home the big trophy at regionals.  In the mercilessly competitive a capella college circuit, these ladies are not above slinging witty barbs at their male competition and pulling out the big guns in their “riff offs” that looks like a mash-up between Bring it On and Step Up. 

Kendirck, who has been hiding her Tony-nominated pipes in movies like Up in the Air, brings her A-game to centre stage by belting out classics by the likes of Ace of Base and rapping to Blackstreet.  That’s right, we can call the music of the 90’s classics now.  And they certainly sound like music to our ears in the trailer.

The film, written by "30 Rock" scribe Kay Cannon, also stars Elizabeth Banks, Anna Camp, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Hairspray's Brittany Snow.
