Cloud AtlasIt’s all about pushing boundaries and coming up with a uniquely epic tale in the upcoming Cloud Atlas. The multi-narrative, inter-connected storyline features Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Susan Sarandon and a host of other stars in multiple roles that span time and geography in the movie, based on the epic novel by David Mitchell.

Directors Tom Twyker (Run Lola Run) and Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix trilogy) along with the cast sit down to discuss exactly what it’s like to work across multiple storylines that span shipwrecks in 1850 to a post-apocalyptic distant future. The actors inhabit different characters throughout the film with costumes and make-up that varies so greatly, they were sometimes unrecognizable to one another. Seriously. Can you identify the guy in the photo above? That’s none other than Hugh Grant, attempting to pull off the tribal look, complete with skulls and warrior face paint.
