The upcoming comedy-drama from director Lynn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister) revolves around 28-year-old Megan (Knightley) who is facing down adulthood as her boyfriend proposes to her and her parents start asking her the dreaded “what are you going to do with your life” question. Stuck in a permanent state of adolescence , Megan takes a week off of her life to hang out with her new underage pal Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz), falling for her friend’s dad (Sam Rockwell), as she sorts out her future.
Ellie Kemper co-stars in the film as Megan’s age-appropriate friend in the flick which made its debut at this past Sundance Film Festival. The film looks to put a unique spin on unlikely friendships and the dilemma and uncertainty that comes with taking that next step and firmly moving into life as an adult.
