The Danish actor may be known to most North American audiences as "Game of Thrones" bad guy Jamie Lannister but he'll be turning heads for a different reason in the upcoming spook-fest Mama opposite Golden Globe-winner Jessica Chastain as her boyfriend, fixated for the past five years on seeking out his missing twin brother, who Coster-Waldau also plays, and his two young nieces.
The good news is, they find the young girls. The bad news is this is a Guillermo del Toro-produced movie so you know that these young nymphs will be creepy and possess more than a fleeting connection to the dark side.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau shared his thoughts on being in a ghost story from first-time director Andy Muschietti, what part del Toro played in the movie coming together and what it was like witnessing Chastain's gothic transformation.
Watch our interview now before Mama hits theatres January 18.
