He's certainly come a long way from Bottle Rocket's generic movie poster, that's for sure.

The writer-director-producer, who likes his suits slim and his scarves casually draped around his neck, has crafted a lovely first look at his upcoming May 25 release, Moonrise Kingdom and, as has become his calling card, it's meticulously crafted, features plenty of bright yellow elements and employs the kind of delicateness we've come to expect from him since The Royal Tenenbaums.

Also featured on the poster are the film's two soon-to-be-famous unknowns Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman who play Suzy and Sam, teenage lovers who flee town and upset the various (no doubt) quirky adults in their lives including Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban and Jason Schwartman.
