We presume there's a story in there somewhere, but for the moment we'll take Stephen Merchant daring Halle Berry to do something mean, Gerard Butler CGI-ed as a leprechaun and Naomi Watts and real-life hubby Liev Schreiber acting as sadistic home-school teacher-parents to their teen kid in lieu of concrete plot details.
Movie 43, which tellingly used to be called Red Band, is like Gary Marshall's Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve, except instead of pretty faces falling in love, this raunchy comedy has funny actors making lewd comments to one another as your jaw starts to hit the floor in disbelief that, yup, Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman and Richard Gere agreed to be in an R-rated laffer with Johnny Knoxville and McLovin.
The vignette-laden movie boasts 11 directors, Elizabeth Banks, Brett Ratner, Bob Odenkirk and Peter Farrelly among them, and is set to hit theatres this January.
So make sure the kids are out of the room, or your work speakers are turned down, cause Movie 43 is most definitely not suitable for all audiences.
