One of the most talked-about comedies of TIFF 2011 is Michael Dowse's Goon. The film stars Seann William Scott, Liev Schrieber, and Jay Baruchel, who also co-wrote the tale of Canada's national obsession, hockey, and the violence in the sport. After its premiere screening on Saturday, Notable.ca's Julian Brass was on-scene at the after-party at Toronto's Andrew Richard Designs, where the stars were out to celebrate the highly-anticipated flick. We caught up with star and writer Jay Baruchel – he's a Canuck, by the way – to chat about Goon, get a glimpse at how he injects his trademark wit, and what it was like to work with funnyman Seann William Scott.
