Dear Our Idiot Brother - you had me at Paul Rudd and Adam Scott. The through-the-roof likability factor of the two real life besties is really enough to vault any film to the top of my must-see list but there's more to this indie comedy than just two largely under-appreciated, talented thesps. Brother came out of Sundance with some serious buzz and a ton of positive reviews and just happens to boast a cast that includes other insanely likable talents Zooey Deschanel, Rashida Jones, Elizabeth Banks, Emily Mortimer and Steve Coogan. So yeah, there's plenty here for everyone to enjoy.
Directed by former Lemonheads guitarist Jesse Peretz, the film follows an idealistic goofball (played by Rudd) whose carefree lifestyle manages to seriously impinge on the lives of his three sisters (Mortimer, Banks and Deschanel), much to their constant chagrin. We've got a look at the first full-length trailer for the late summer comedy below. Check out the preview then see the laugher when it makes its way to theatres on August 26.
