Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Premium Rush2012 is shaping up to be a good year for Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Earliest this summer he appeared as one of Gotham’s finest police officers and friend of Batman in The Dark Knight Rises. In a fall full of films from big name directors and talented actors the time travel action-thriller Looper starring Joseph and directed by Rian Johnson has been given the prestigious honour of kicking off the Toronto International Film Festival as the opening night Gala Presentation. Later this year, Joseph has a coveted role in Lincoln alongside Daniel Day-Lewis in Steven Spielberg’s biopic on the 16th president of the United States in which he’ll play the first born son of Honest Abe. JG-L is certainly going to be a staple on the big screen this fall.

The week, Joseph Gordon-Levitt cycles his way onto Cineplex screens in Premium Rush. He stars as an unlucky bike messenger whose morning pick-up attracts the attention of a dirty cop, played by Michael Shannon.
