Hansel and Gretel: Witch HuntersOnce upon a time, Hansel and Gretel were lured into a gingerbread house by a witch who planned on turning them into a hearty meal. Luckily, the children made a timely escape from her clutches before she could sink her teeth into the them. Fifteen years later, the siblings have become vengeful bounty hunters, set on destroying the evil head witch of a particularly nasty, child-sacrificing coven in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, opening this Friday in Cineplex theatres.

The witch hunting duo played by Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton follow in the breadcrumb-lined path of their fairy tale brethren. Epic quests, fierce battles, and the timeless battle of good versus evil are just some of the hallmarks of a classic fairy tale film.
