Hunger GamesIf you tuned into the MTV Video Music Awards last night just to catch a glimpse of the first Hunger Games footage, you were in for a bit of a wait. The annual award show waited until the very end for the big reveal, wrapping up the night's festivities with the long-promised (and highly-anticipated) sneak peek.

And just what did those who tuned in get to see? A first look at Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen, that's what. It's a short preview overall but the glimpse of Katniss combined with Gale's (Liam Hemsworth) pumped-up speech narration should provide more than enough fodder for fans to get geared up and excited for the film's March 2012 release!
