The Bourne Legacy - Jeremy Renner still If you'd thought the heart-stopping big-screen Bourne adventures had come to a close, it's time to think again. Come August 3, a whole new chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise is set to take theatres and audiences by storm. Tony Gilroy, the architect behind the first three film chapters, takes the helm again for The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the universe created by author Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

Along with Renner for the ride are series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn are all back to reprise their roles.
