Woody Allen's new trailer takes us to Italy
He's already made us yen for time in Spain (Vicky Cristina Barcelona), showed us a glimpse of the rich, British and murderous (Match Point) and had an unlikely box office hit with a whimsical look at the France of yore (Midnight in Paris) so it only makes sense that Woody Allen's next European sojourn would have his characters trading barbs in Italian.
The first theatrical trailer for To Rome with Love (previously titled the superior-but-deemed-too mysterious Nero Fiddled and before that Bop Decameron) has dropped and we get to see Allen himself in front of the camera (!) with long-time pal Judy Davis, not to mention Greta Gerwig and her freewheelin' bestie Ellen Page, whose liberal sexual attitudes rather bewitch Jesse Eisenberg.
Oh, and did we mention Penelope Cruz plays a red-hot prostitute, Robert Benigni is back (meh) and there's mention of communists?
Watch the trailer already!
