What is the TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo?

The TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo is a specially priced combo offer which includes a General admission ticket, Regular Popcorn and Regular Fountain Drink at approximately 50% off of the combined retail price. This offer is only available on Tuesday's and is available exclusively at all Cineplex Entertainment theatres.

Why is Cineplex Entertainment offering this program?

Cineplex Entertainment wants to offer great value to moviegoers and has piloted similar programs in select markets, receiving positive feedback from guests. Cineplex Entertainment would now like to extend this offer to all Cineplex Entertainment movie-goers. Enjoying a movie, regular popcorn and regular fountain drink at approximately half the price is an unbeatable value that we hope many movie-goers will take advantage of.

Is this program only available to TELUS customers?

The TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo is available to all Cineplex guests. You do not need to be a TELUS customer to enjoy this great value.

Must I use the concession voucher for the popcorn and fountain drink offer only?

Yes, the voucher was created for a discount towards a Regular popcorn and Regular fountain drink. Guests will have the option to upsize the popcorn for .50 cents or the fountain drink for .50 cents or both for $1.00. Butter will be an additional charge per normal theatre pricing. The concession voucher will be valid for up to 10 days after purchase and will be accepted any day of the week within the 10 day period.

Will the TELUS Tuesday Combo Package be available online and at the Automatic Ticketing Kiosks?

Yes, guests can purchase their combo packages at the theatre box office or online or at the automatic ticketing kiosks. There are no service fees for tickets purchased online at cineplex.com.

Can I use a Cineplex Entertainment Admit One vouchers for the TELUS Tuesday offer?

Unfortunately, the Cineplex Entertainment Admit One voucher is a pre-purchased corporate product which is only valid for a pre-paid admission and will not be accepted for the TELUS Tuesday ½ Price Movie Combo. The TELUS Tuesday ½ Price Movie Combo is only available with the payment of cash, credit, debit, SCENE points or with a Cineplex Entertainment Gift Card, on a Tuesday.

Are there other Cineplex Entertainment Coupons, Vouchers or programming that are not valid towards the TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo?

Additional Cineplex Entertainment coupons, vouchers or programming that are not valid for the TELUS Tuesday offer include , but are not limited to:

  • Cineplex Night Out
  • Be Our Guest Passes
  • Courtesy Tickets
  • 2 for 1 admission coupons
  • WWE Events
  • Opera, Musicals and Concerts
  • Premiere and VIP Cards

If you would like to use one of these coupons or vouchers at a Cineplex Entertainment theatre on a Tuesday, it will be accepted for the admission ticket portion only and will not be redeemable towards the popcorn and fountain drink TELUS Tuesday offer.

Can I use my Access To Entertainment card for the TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo?

Access To Entertainment cardholders are welcome to purchase the ½ Price Movie Combo and their companion will receive their admission ticket for free.

Will the TELUS Tuesday Guests earn SCENE points for their purchase?

Yes, the standard SCENE point offer of 100 points per member's admission ticket per visit (and 50 bonus points offer for up to 2 children ticket purchases) will apply. Maximum 2 visits per day.

Can SCENE members redeem points for a TELUS Tuesday Package?

Yes, a Scene Members can redeem 1,000 SCENE points for a TELUS Tuesday ½ Price Movie Combo.

Will SCENE members receive a 10% by using their SCENE card for the TELUS Tuesday ½ Price Movie Combo?

The TELUS Tuesday ½ Price Movie Combo is already discounted by 50% and is therefore not eligible for an additional SCENE discount. Any additional concession items purchased on Tuesday are eligible for the 10% SCENE discount (subject to program terms & conditions).

Is there a discounted admission price for 3D, IMAX and VIP performances on TELUS Tuesdays?

The discounted General admission price on Tuesday's will apply against the standard general ticket purchase. The premium for 3D, IMAX, D-Box and VIP Performances will still be charged at the full rate.

Is there anything special for TELUS Customers?

In addition to the TELUS ½ Price Movie Combo which is available to all guests, TELUS customers will also receive special offers designed to further enhance their movie-going experience. Check the TELUS Offers tab above for more details or Click Here to be redirected to the Telus.com website.

† ½ Price means approximately half of the combined price of one regular general admission, one regular-sized fountain soft drink and one regular-sized standard popcorn. Prices may vary by market or by Cineplex theatre. The ½ Price Movie Combo is subject to applicable taxes. Not valid for use with coupons, vouchers, or other programs, promotions or non-feature film entertainment. A premium for 3D, Imax, D-Box and VIP admissions will be charged at the standard rate.
