Front Row Centre Events bring the world of entertainment to your community and put you in the centre of the action with the best seats in the house! Presented in High Definition via satellite with Digital Surround Sound onto screens as large as 60 feet wide. These programs are unique and Cineplex Entertainment is pleased to be presenting them in theatres across the country.

In the summer of 2008 Jack Johnson took a trip through Europe playing everywhere from historical venues to classic outdoor stages making it the biggest tour of his career. The film is a collection of live performances with Jack’s quartet along with special appearances by G. Love, Ben Harper, Mason Jennings, Neil Halstead and Matt Costa.

Evangelion
Evangelion 1.0 (originally aired Sept 30 and Oct 3)
You Are (Not) Alone is the film sequel to the sci-fi animated series blockbuster Neon Genesis Evangelion (also written and directed by Hideaki Anno) which aired on Japanese television in the mid 1990’s.

There was no foreseeable warning before it happened -- a catastrophe of unparalleled scale and magnitude overwhelmed the entire globe. This event, recorded in history as "The Second Impact," caused half the population of the Earth to perish and devastated the world.

The feature-length film documents the dramatic final week of the 2007 competition of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, where each year thousands of hopefuls compete for the opportunity to launch a major operatic career.
Diana Krall
Diana Krall - Live in Rio (premiered May 20, 2008)
In November 2008 Diana Krall staged a performance in Rio of the Classic standards, ranging from “The Boy from Ipanema” to “Quiet Nights”. The Concert was shot in the city’s “Vivo Rio” venue, with 11 High Definition cameras, recorded to the highest quality and in front of the most informed audience, very familiar with the Jazz Rhythms pioneered by such local icons as Joao Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim.
God Rocks!

The concert was captured on 7 high definition cameras with amazing surround-sound for an experience you'll never forget!

The Who - Live at the Isle of Wight Festival - Premiered February 18, 2009
Originally shot on film in 1970 by Academy Award-winning director Murray Lerner, The Who – Live at the Isle of Wight Festival captures the band’s high-energy performance in front of 600,000 festival-goers.  This most dramatic moment in the history of hard rock is undoubtedly one of the band’s most memorable performances ever.   Along with remixed sound, this concert footage has been digitally restored in HD to its highest quality.

Fall Concert Series
The Fall HD Concert Series 2008 featured acts from the Basement Sessions (a place where credible, established acts can perform their music free from the strictures of the charts and the marketing cycle ) and InDef (The first-ever Canadian Independant Concert series produced in HD). Select featured bands in the series included The White Stripes, The Shins, Thom Yorke, Joel Plaskett Emergency and Alex Cuba.
Queen
Queen (premiered Oct 17, 2007)
“Hello Montreal...long time no see. You wanna get crazy?” Following their record-breaking South American tour, the Montreal shows on November 24 and 25, 1981 were to be the only concerts by Queen ever shot on film – indeed they were the first group to shoot an entire show in full cinema format 35mm. For this special edition, the picture has been digitally restored from the original 35mm negative.
Death Note (Part 1)
Death Note (premiered Sept 15, 2008)
Based on a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The story begins when Light Yagami, an ace student with great prospects, finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god named Ryuk. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and Light vows to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil.
Long Way Down
Long Way Down (premiered Oct 15, 2008)
Long Way Down is a motorcycle journey undertaken by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, on which they rode south through 18 countries from John o' Groats in Scotland to Cape Town in South Africa via Europe and Africa in 2007. This is a special 2-hour presentation of their journey which started on May 12, 2007 and finished on 4 August 2007.
Bowfire

Bowfire presents an "All Star Show" of the finest lineup of fiddle and violin virtuosos ever assembled on one stage. It takes its audiences on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Celtic, Rock, Gypsy, World, Texas Swing and Ottawa Valley and Cape Breton styles and mixes in incredible step and tap dancing and a beautiful voice.
