Here you will find a list of the most commonly asked questions about the Cineplex Make Money with Movies fundraising program.

Cineplex Fundraising Program

What are my product options for fundraising?

We have 4 products to choose from:

- Admit One
- Great Escape
- Child Adventure
- Gift Cards

How much money can I make from the Cineplex fundraising program?

The amount of money each group raises will be different. It’s all dependent on how much you sell and how eager your team is. We provide suggested reselling prices as a guide, however your group can set your own prices. Our team is happy to provide your group with guidelines and suggestions to help make the most money and ensure campaign success.

How long does it take to run a fundraiser?

The timelines are up to you! You can choose to run your fundraiser for as little as one day up to three weeks. It’s important to remember however not to run the program for too long at one time. It’s easy enough to repeat throughout the year.

How often can we hold a fundraiser?

The option is all yours! With easy repeatability groups can run the program up to once a month!

Are there any upfront costs for my group?

There are no upfront costs for your groups unless you choose to pre-purchase your products. If you choose to do so then you are required to pay for the products in advance before collecting funds.

Are there any hidden fees?

There are no hidden costs however each order is subject to a $15.00 +HST processing fee. This cost covers the shipping fee to send your group the item(s) you’ve ordered.

What if I change my mind and want to return items I have already ordered?

Unfortunately, once a product is ordered and shipped we cannot refund or exchange it. However, if your item(s) is defective for any reason we would be happy to replace it once we confirm its flaw!

How is my order delivered?

Each order is shipped via secure courier, in sealed envelopes. When your order ships your team lead will get a confirmation email with a tracking number. All of our products are shipped with delayed activation of 24-48 hours for security purposes.

Once my order is delivered, what happens next?

Now that you’ve received your order you can either hand them out to purchasers or Sell! Sell! Sell!

What groups are eligible to raise money with the program?

All groups within the community trying to accomplish a goal, i.e. send their team on a trip or get new equipment for their classroom, are eligible to raise funds with this program. Does the program have any restrictions?

Our program is geared toward local not-for-profit groups. This program is not to replace group bookings of 20+ people planning see various movies and/or attend special events. Cineplex Fundraising Products

What types of products are available my fundraiser?

Admit One Movie Ticket: Redeem for 1 General Admission.

Great Escape Movie and Concession Package: Redeem for 2 General Admissions, 2 Regular Soft Drinks and 1 Regular Popcorn.

Child Adventure Movie and Concession Package: Redeem for 1 Child Admission and 1 Kid's Tray Combo which includes a Drink, Popcorn and Treat.

Gift Cards: Gift Cards can be loaded with any denomination from $10 - $200 - choose from a variety of eye-catching designs.

Do the products have any restrictions?

Products are subject to the terms and conditions as outlined on the back of each product. For further information, please see the terms and conditions found at www.CineplexStore.com/Corporate.

Where can the products be redeemed?

Certificate products can be redeemed at all Cineplex Entertainment theatres - Gift Cards are redeemable both online and in theatres.

Do the products have an expiry date?

Yes, certificates are subject to a 2-year expiry. Gift Cards do not expire. The value on each card should be treated like cash.

What if something happens to some of my products?

Each certificate has a serial number on the back of it. We recommend you keep track of those numbers in the event that something occurs. Without this number it is difficult for our team to locate information on a particular item.
