60-year-old Angélique still has the energy of a young girl. She loves partying and works as a hostess in a cabaret at the German border, prompting the few customers to order bottles of champagne. She's realizes that men are not as attracted to her as they used to be, but Michel, a regular, is madly in love with her and proposes. Under pressure from her friends who wish she would settle, Angélique accepts. Michel takes the opportunity to help her reconnect with her four children, but Angélique remains fiercely independent.
