aubrey plaza, the to do list

Aubrey Plaza checks things off her To Do List in red-band trailer

She may play the acerbic, chronically underwhelmed April Ludgate in NBC's "Parks and Recreation" but Aubrey Plaza is going the R-rated slapstick angle in her new comedy The To Do List, where she plays a sexually inexperienced high school grad who vows to check certain intimate acts off her to-do list before she hits college. With a premise like that, the jokes would seem to write themselves but Maggie Carey is the funny lady who penned the script and makes her directorial debut in the laffer that boats an outrageously talented cast so get ready for some bolded names: Bill Hader, Donald Glover, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Adam Pally, Clark Gregg and Connie Britton all help Plaza's newbie get a, ahem, bad education.

The young actress actually introduces the first trailer herself, which just so happens to be a red band trailer so consider yourself WARNED about potentially offensive content, and tells us that The To Do List is a different kind of Valentine's Day movie, which in our minds, is a very good thing.
