The gang’s all here in the first image of The Avengers: Age of Ultron cast!
The newly released image from the upcoming superhero sequel comes to us from a scene that we previously got a glimpse of in the teaser trailer. The Avengers, plus a few hangers-on are witnessing the off-screen entrance of the evil robot Ultron in the scene the still is taken from.
With nine actors strong, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has definitely expanded since the Avengers’ last outing. Reprising their roles from across the Marvel Universe are: Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Iris Elba as Heimdell. Newcomers to the big screen flock include Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor- Johnson as Quicksilver, and James Spader as the voice of Ultron.
We talked to virtually the entire cast of Joss Whedon's The Avengers: Age of Ultron at Comic-Con and got the scoop on what we can expect from the superteam’s second outing from our old favourites and Marvel newcomers. Watch our interview and check out the brand new cast image below:
