Our pick of the week: Call Me By Your Name (Available to Buy)

Elio, Elio, Elio...if you've seen Call Me By Your Name, you may find yourself with Elio's name on your mind from time to time. This lush, romantic, erotic, and heart-wrenching tale of first love is one that is hard to shake. We follow Elio (in a groundbreaking performance from relative newcomer and Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet), a 17-year-old prodigy who spends his summers in Italy with his parents and their yearly summer student. This year, Oliver (Armie Hammer) arrives, awakening Elio to new feelings, and leading to an unforgettable summer romance. One of the best films of last year, Call Me By Your Name is a new queer masterpiece.

Our pick of the week: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Available to Buy)

People had mixed feelings about the latest Star Wars film. While some chafed at what they saw as the erasure of the central mythology from the 1977 original, others felt its compelling new direction was a refreshing take on the idea of "the force". Whatever side you're on, anyone can benefit from repeat viewings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which at the end of the day, is a stunning sci-fi adventure, filled with memorable performances, epic action sequences, and with a message that will inspire both those new or old to the series.
