Our favourite Edgar Wright scenes before Baby Driver

Edgar Wright only has four major features under his belt, but he's already regarded as a legendary filmmaker.

Three of these films make up the "Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy, a series of films which are all directed by Wright, written by Wright and actor Simon Pegg, and starring Pegg and Nick Frost. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End make up this thematic trilogy--which have a running joke of all being in reference to a different flavour of Cornetto ice cream. Despite this quirky running theme, the three films are vastly different. Shaun of the Dead is a zombie film, Hot Fuzz is a buddy cop movie, and The World's End is an apocalyptic pub crawl. All three are hilarious and highly regarded comedy films.

Wright has expanded from this team once already, when he made Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. He proved to be the perfect filmmaker to adapt Brian Lee O'Malley's Toronto-set graphic novels, as the film is a burst of references, filled with visual gags and impressive visual effects. The film follows Scott Pilgrim, a twenty-something who in order to date his love interest Ramona Flowers, must defeat her seven evil exes.  It also features a stellar new cast for the filmmaker, including Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jason Schwartzmann, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Brie Larson, Chris Evans and Anna Kendrick.

Based on his previous track record, we can barely contain our excitement for his latest film, Baby Driver, which pairs Wright again with an all new cast. This time Ansel Elgort takes the lead, with Jamie Foxx, Eiza González, Jon Hamm and Lily James by his side. Baby Driver is about a young getaway driver who gets pushed into participating in a heist that's doomed to fail. The film is getting such great early reception that it's release date was pushed ahead by a month, something rarely seen.

With Baby Driver out on June 28th, we're using this as a reason to highlight our favourite moment from each of Wright's four previous films. Check out these epic scenes below, and be sure to see Baby Driver when it hits Cineplex theatres.
