Reset and Yalghaar are among the International Cinema titles opening at Cineplex theatres this weekend!

Reset (Mandarin w/Chinese and English subtitles)

Reset is a sci-fi thriller produced by Jackie Chan. It follows a scientist (Yan Mi) who is on the verge of discovering time travel. Just as she happens upon this, her son is kidnapped and held at ransom—she must surrender all of her research to save him. The events spiral out of control when she sends herself back in time, leading her to discover multiple versions of her future self, who all help her to rescue her son.

Great Sardaar
(Punjabi with English subtitles)

Set during the 1985 riots in Punjab, Great Sardaar tells the true story of Shaitan Singh, who posthumously was awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his ‘C’ company’s dig-in at Rezang La pass during the Sino-India conflict of 1962. Great Sardaar is a motivational film that showcases the honor of the Sikh turban and respect.

Yalghaar (Urdu with English Subtitles)

Yalghaar (which means “attack”), is based on the true story of Pakistan Army’s Swat Operation, and it’s one of the year’s most highly anticipated Pakistani films. The film closely follows a military operation conducted in the Piochar region of the SWAT district, and displays the passionate officers and soldiers who fight for their country with unparalleled patriotism. The film is a tribute to the slain children of the 2014 Peshawar school attack.
