Pixar&rsquo;s latest gem finds animal lover Mabel (Piper Curda) learning her college professor has invented &ldquo;Hoppers&rdquo; technology, which allows a person&rsquo;s consciousness to &ldquo;hop&rdquo; into a robotic animal and hear the thoughts of real animals. Learning that her beloved forest glade is about to be developed by the greedy mayor (Jon Hamm), Mabel hops into a robotic beaver and mobilizes the local wildlife to fight for their home.<o:p></o:p>

Director Chong was initially going to use a penguin as the animal protagonist but realized penguins had been featured in other animated movies so went with a beaver. He calls beavers &ldquo;crazy cool&rdquo; ecosystem engineers.<o:p></o:p>

Buckley and Bale are never afraid to take big dramatic swings, and they&rsquo;ll get the chance here as Gyllenhaal&rsquo;s retelling includes sweeping musical numbers and a dose of social justice storytelling as the dead want another shot at living.<o:p></o:p>

It doesn&rsquo;t take long before she realizes the building&rsquo;s residents belong to a Satanic cult and she&rsquo;s meant to be their sacrifice.<o:p></o:p>

Beetz describes the film as &ldquo;pop gore,&rdquo; an apt description for a film that&rsquo;s saturated with colours and a whole lot of blood. The actor estimates she spent 80 percent of the shoot covered in the sticky substance. Director Sokolov was born and raised in Russia and was a physics scholar who studied under Nobel laureate Zhores Alferov, but it was filmmaking that was his true passion, and he eventually made his way to Hollywood after making a string of critically acclaimed Russian action-horror films.<o:p></o:p>

But when Ben gets bitten by a mongoose and contracts rabies, he turns into a bloodthirsty predator.&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>

However, when evil cat Puddy (Ruaira MacDonald) sets out to eliminate humans, Danny joins Wonderdog in fighting the fiendish feline.<o:p></o:p>

Critics have been buzzing about this Spanish film since its debut at last year&rsquo;s Cannes Film Festival where it was co-winner of the coveted Jury Prize. Desperate father Luis (Sergi L&oacute;pez) and his young son Esteban (Bruno N&uacute;&ntilde;ez Arjona) travel to Morocco in search of Luis&rsquo; missing daughter Mar, who vanished at a rave in the desert. A group of ravers join Luis in his search, and as they head deeper into the desert they stumble into an armed conflict that puts them in peril.

Director Laxe originally conceived of a film about trucks racing across the desert but when he reconnected with his raving roots he combined the two ideas. None of the ravers in the film are professional actors but rather real people cast for their connection with rave culture or their off-the-grid lifestyle.

Valentine&rsquo;s Day gets a whole lot steamier thanks to Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi circling one another in this adaptation of Emily Bront&euml;&rsquo;s 1847 classic novel. As children, orphan Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw bond while exploring the Yorkshire moors surrounding the Earnshaw&rsquo; s Wuthering Heights estate. Their love for each other grows but Heathcliff&rsquo;s lowly status means he can never marry Catherine, and he runs off.

He returns years later wealthy and still obsessed by Catherine, who despite being married remains herself in love with the brooding Heathcliff. Director Emerald Fennell (Saltburn) calls her version of the story &ldquo;primal and sexual&rdquo; and the chemistry between Elordi and Robbie is undeniable. In an interview with Fandango Elordi said, &ldquo;There'd be a moment where we'd be running hand-in-hand through the moors, maybe not even in the scene, just setting it up, where I'd look across at her and she'd be looking at me and you really realized you are looking at Catherine and she was looking at Heathcliff. And in that moment, we really were a part of their love, for real.&rdquo;

Lou Lubesnick (Mark Ruffalo) may have figured out Mike&rsquo;s modus operandi and that Mike&rsquo;s mentor Money (Nick Nolte) can&rsquo;t be trusted. Pedro Pascal was originally cast as Mike but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

You don&rsquo;t have to be familiar with the original Canadian web and television series Nirvanna the Band the Show to enjoy this outrageously funny mockumentary starring Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol. The pair play fictionalized versions of themselves, bandmates (who&rsquo;ve never written or recorded a song) who are obsessed with performing at Toronto&rsquo;s Rivoli club. Using a RV time machine, they accidently travel back to 2008 and must find a way to return to the present. Anyone who lived or visited Toronto back in 2008 will get a kick out of recognizing familiar city landmarks. This comedy stands as a love letter to the city and to dreamers (no matter how delusional!) who refuse to give up their ambitions.

The movie is loosely based on the classic 1949 film Kind Hearts and Coronets, which saw Alec Guiness play eight different roles. Here, Powell plays just the role of the killer with the charming smile, who&rsquo;s spurred on by his childhood friend Julia (Margaret Qualley). Co-starring Ed Harris as Becket&rsquo;s grandfather and Jessica Henwick as Becket&rsquo;s girlfriend.

When director Baz Luhrmann was preparing his 2022 Elvis biopic he went searching for the rumoured lost footage of Elvis&rsquo; Las Vegas residency, which began in 1969 at the Westgate Hotel and ran until December 1976 for a total of 636 sold-out shows. Luhrmann found it &ndash;&ndash; 68 boxes of 35 mm and 8mm footage &ndash;&ndash; in the Warner Bros. film archives stored deep inside a Kansas salt mine.
&nbsp;
Luhrmann meticulously pieced together the footage to create both a documentary and a concert film that brings one of the world&rsquo;s most loved and charismatic performers back to life. The number of people who can say they saw Elvis during his peak Vegas years dwindles, but thanks to Luhrmann we can feel the excitement of watching Elvis on the big screen. Oh, and did we mention the film is also available in IMAX theatres? Elvis in IMAX &ndash;&ndash;&rsquo;nuff said.
